Job Description:
A company is looking for a Supervisor - Appeals to oversee the
independent external appeals process and manage a team of Appeals
Officers.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee healthcare applications processing, complaints, and
appeals
Provide supervision and coaching to assigned staff, ensuring
performance meets standards
Maintain an active case load and review patient records while
preparing decision letters or reports
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of professional
experience, or equivalent combination of education and
experience
Minimum 2 years of experience with independent external review for
medical appeals
Previous supervisory experience in a medical appeals
environment
Experience in compiling and analyzing production statistics
Knowledge of compliance with company policies and procedures
