The Occupational Therapist assesses the functional needs of the patients and sets appropriate goals for that patient; -provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other specialists as needed; -and reassesses patient's functional needs and adjusts care plan as indicated to ensure optimal patient outcome. -Specialty needs for Level II may possibly include hand therapy with dynamic splint preparation, pelvic health, voice and swallow, psychiatric rehab, perinatal, lymphedema, and industrial. - - - - - - - - - -Reports to: Therapies Director/SupervisorFLSA: -Non-exemptMinimum Qualifications:Minimum Education

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. - -Minimum Work Experience
Required: combination of 3 or more specialty courses and at least 5 years of experience performing specialty with a regular patient caseload.
Preferred: board certification in specialty
